Institute of Military History in Bratislava and Museum of Slovak National Uprising in Banska Bystrica
Will be held international conference dunng 29 th – 30 th April 2010 in Academy of Armed Forces of General M. R. Stefanik in Liptovsky Mikulas.
The topic of conference: Liberation of Slovakia 1944 – 1945.
The panel section:
1. Slovak Republic regime and army during liberation of Slovakia (September 1944 – May 19451).
2. The combat activity of the Red Army, Rumunian, German and Hungarian military troops on the territory of Slovakia (September 1944 – May 19451).
3. American aviation activity in the air area of Slovakia.
4. Participation of 1 st Czechoslovak army corps in the Soviet Union into partisan formations during the liberation of Slovakia.
