Following our domestic and foreign literature (mostly polish) and research performed in all appropriate Czech and Slovak archives, the author analyses the issue in a wider political context in the first years of the World War II. Chronologically he deals with the threads concerned with the German attack at Poland and presents the Slovak political scene attitude to the participation of the country in military mining against Poland focusing on the solution of the capture issue. He deals with the solution of the issue of the polish refugees who escaped from Hungarian territory. This issue appeared after 17. September 1939. He outlines the digital data related to the number of captures and refugees at Slovak territory as well as the appropriate financial costs and the tendency of the Slovak bodies towards the solution of that problem. At the same time he approaches the issue of competence division. There is presented the process of solving the problem of the Polish captures and refugees(of German origin) exchange for the Slovak captures in the concentration camps. The author outlines the possible complications that may appear while dealing with the issue of captures after the German atttack at the Soviet Union.
