The author concentrated on the description of the military-historical library work in Budapest, currently situated near the Military-historical institution and museum, the oldest hungarian armed forces library (on the occasion of the 80 Anniversary). It briefly outlines the development and status of this library within the structure of the Hungarian Ministry of Defence. It approaches collection as well as completion efforts and overall focus and foundations. Special attention is paid to numerous acquisitions and increase of personell. The author deals with the level of processing computer databasis and further perspectives.
