In Part 2 of the study published under the same title as in the previous issue, the author manages to masterfully capture the most important moments of the final chapter of the joint army of Czechs and Slovaks, with focus on Slovakia. With required level of detail, he outlines the most important decisions of the political and military representatives as well as specific impacts of these decisions on practical operation of the CS army from November 1989 until the last days of December 1992. Last but not least, the content also lets us “feel” the unrepeatable atmosphere of revolutionary changes taking place in the CS army after overthrow of the single party and implementation of democratization principles aimed at providing for the complex system of army operation.
