The study examines civil air defence (CPO) measures aimed at protecting by sheltering at stations and premises of the Slovak Railways during World War 2. It provides a brief overview of the legislation and regulations governing CPO during this period. The author chronologi cally describes the developments in the construction of shelters, highlighting significant events throughout the war. Additionally, the text offers insights into the location, type, construction, and usage of protective structures designed to shelter railway workers and passengers. Another focus is on the protective properties of these shelters and their utilization during air raids. The study enumerates various types of shelters at more prominent stations, with a detailed focus on Bratislava.
