The author presents the genesis of Bratislava infantry cabin B-S at Bratislava Bridgehead built in 1937 with its technical parameters. He assumes that it was in a relatively untouched state during the War. Whereas there was the re-activation of Czechoslovak pre-war fortification from 1946, there was the foundation of the Headquarter of Military Area IV, being in charge of the maintenance of the fortification in the region of Morava-Slovak border – Bratislava. He looks closely at the technical equipment in the following chapters. The building did not involve any crew, there was no equipment except for a stuck cannon and it was locked by a massive electromagnetic lock. The troops from the surroundings conducted only an annual maintenance and camouflage. The calm peace service was broken by the Warsaw Pact armies’ Invasion in August 1968. The author recalls the damages caused by the breaking in on 3rd September 1938.
