The author of this scientific study solves difficult and in the Slovak military historiography not enough analyzed problemacy until now. In the chronological order he analyzes the beginnings of the Czechoslovak armed forces formation and its legislative preliminaries, the building of the most important institutions of the military administration and the higher military commands (1918—1919). The content focus of the study is the individual process of the Czechoslovak Army’s unification (1920—1922) and its results in Slovakia. Then, he pays his attention to the dislocation changes as well as changes in the organizational construction of the Army, in military legislation and its numeral relations in the years 1923—1928.
