In the study are described military-political issues of the Czecho-Slovak relations between 1918 - 1939. Author gives the analyses based on the new archival research, of the Slovak soldiers and officers in the Czechoslovak Army in is period. He points at the reasons of conflict situations between the Czechs an Slovaks and also shows how these conflicts were treated by the highest bodies of the Ministry of Defence. On the basis of primary matherials the author came to the conclusion that the fact that the Slovak soldiers and officers were permanently suspected of separatism resulted in istrust of them and this preasure finally resulted in their unequal positions in the Czechoslovak Army.
