The article is devoted to the contribution of Slovaks in the military emigration in Poland in 1939 and their participation in the so called Czechoslovak Eastern Military Group. The author follows the destiny of Slovak soldiers and volunteers in the starting phase of antifascist resistance, motivation of their departure to foreign resistance, joining individual organization structures of newly created Czechoslovak foreign army with the accent on the complicity of their national position. He pays attention  especcially to those legion remnants hat left for the Soviet Union. Here they became the source of intelligence and other air-borne oparations in Slovakia.
