Contribution provides brief and basic information on the new structure of the Slovak Army – VHA Tmava, which is a part of the Military Historical Institute in Bratislava. The Director of the Archive gives information about the foundation of this new institution, its organizational structure, duties and authorities in the frame of the military archival system. He points out the specific working methods of new specialists military archivists. The particular science-research and professional results of this Archive are devoted to the researchers and they are published in the annex.
