Study deals with combat operations of the 1st and 4th Rumanian Army by liberation of the territory

of Slovakia. Author follows the advance of given Armies from Slovak-Hungarian border. He elucidates the course of military operations by Rožňava and Lučenec and contribution of Rumanian troops by removal of Zvolen \s bridgehead. He further pays attention to the course of battles of Banská Bystrica. Kremnica and Turiec as well as violent crossing of Hron and combat activities of Rumanian Armies in the area of White Carpathians and Small Fatra.
