Study analyses sensitive and up to now scientifically not compiled issue of scheduled extraordinary security measures and Army’s contribution dislocated in Slovakia in assumed modifications of their fulfilment. Army as one of the period pillers of communist regime with the part of its forces actively participated in the process of persecutory and repressive measures against civil society. Violent and bloody suppression of antioccupational rallies in August 1969 was the biggest performance of the Army in the framework of fulfilment so-called internal function.
