Author translated and compiled so far unexploited manuscript source, which can be find in military archives in Vienna Training material of military nature was drawned up in the section of Austrian General Staff for Hungarian regional science and deals with adequate operational activity of Austrian troops in case of Russian Army’s assault from Northeast, respectively from Northern side towards mountain range of Carpathians. Free translation of manuscript paper in abbreviatory way densely features military meaning Carpathians and adjacent Slovak territory in military plans of Austrian General Staff for defence of Carpathians at the beginning of 19th century.
