The author aimed this study at the preview of armed organizations establishment and activities in the first decade of pre-Munich Czechoslovakia existence. It is an original scientific work which is based on archive documents spread around in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, historical literature and press, and finally also several scientific studies that dealt with the above issues at least partially. A basic purpose of this study is to briefly elucidate all the most important military state, civil paramilitary and physical training federal organizations to reader, unifying feature of which was identification themselves with the official policy of Czechoslovak Government, nationwide province and close cooperation with Czechoslovak Army (former Czechoslovak Armed Forces), especially in the field of civil armed education and pre-military education of the youth.
