The author in this study deals with the question of Slovak Army troops participation in the war gainst the Soviet Union in 1941, underlying the troops' consistency and tasks that had to be fulfilled in the rear of German troops and directly at the front. He discusses a performance of the Rapid Group, the first Slovak Army's formation which was integrated into the German troops composition (German 17th Army), shows numbers and its fust combat tasks. He presents its reorganization (July 7th, 1941) to the Rapid Brigade. He amplifies a topic related to the Army reorganization according to the gen. Čatloš's command, dated July 25th, which gave the birth to the Rapid and Safeguard Division. The author states numbers, names of formations', commanders operating at the Eastern front, combat operations sequence.
