The article provides the reader with a new wider view of the Mokraď airfield history and is an evident enrichment in the search into the Slovak Air Arm. It deals with the history of the Mokraď airfield, its place and role in the take-over plans of Gen. Čatloš or the military centre. Attention is focused on the presentation of Gen. Čatloš’s claims relating to the airfield construction itself, as well as to the questions of its practical use by the Slovak Air Arm units. The author also pays attention to the description of historical events connected with the armed resistance of all democratic forces in the Slovak society against nazism.
