The author studied the issue of the Slovak airmen conversion to German technical equipment in the period of 1942 - 1943 on the basis of available archive material. The rich and by its contents unique source of former Slovak Air Arm personnel memories played an irreplaceable role as archive material describing the events. The author also used the private archive, the so-called „ Aeroarchive of the author“.
