The author analysed in his informative report the intent of Military Historical Archive to divide his­

torical documents and other material providing evidence on military history of Slovakia into four

archive structural components: archive funds, archive collections, special collections and archive in­

formatics. He provides a brief characteristic of the components and outlines the concept of their

arrangement.
