At the same time the author characterised the organisation of manning the defence power in Slovakia after the formation of the Slovak Republic and its Army. The author describes also the measures realised on the basis of Para 27 of the Defence Act No. 20 of 31 January 1940, the mobilisation process and its results that is the essence of the study. The author shows the mobilisation results on the basis of the report for the President of the Republic of 8 July 1941. When evaluating the mobilisation process and results in 1941 the author refers to the problems arisen during mobilisation: transport problems, problems concerning the enlisting orders despatches resulting from shortcomings in the co-operation between the army units and the civilian authorities etc. Some problems connected with the conscripts joining or on-going seasonal agricultural works.
