In the second part of his reminiscence the author, retired colonel, describes the events he survived when liberating Czechoslovakia from December 1944 to May 1945. He pays detailed attention especially to the serious struggles of the 1st Army Corps when liberating the town of Liptovský Mikuláš and to the struggles in the mountains of Veľká Fatra. The author interprets the events from the point of view of the anti-tank company commander and his attitude is clearly anti-fascist. The conclusion of his reminiscence is devoted to the struggles in Moravia and the fast shift to Prague. This part of his reminiscences is an important contribution to the mosaic of the combat activity in Slovakia at the end of the World War II.
