In the published study the Romanian historian focused his attention on political and military cooperation between two states - Romania and Czechoslovakia that gained independence from Habsburg monarchy as a result of the national-liberation battle during the World War I. The author pays special attention to the process of defence alliance formation of these 3 Danubian states - so called Little Entente in course of the years 1920 - 1922 the aim of which was to maintain the status quo in the Central and South-eastern Europe on the basis of Trianon Peace Treaty of June 1920 and to prevent the revisionist danger from the side of Hungary as well as from the side of Germany and the Soviet Union. In the same phenomenalistic way the author describes the political and military co-operation between the Little Entente states from the 1st half of 20's to the dramatic period of the 2nd half of 30's - Munich dictate. In the study the author stems from the research of archival materials, edited documents as well as from wide professional literature.
