The published material starts from the archive research and on the basis of achieved results he confirms or completes the published information on the extent of military damage and brings new interesting knowledge on the participation of the Czechoslovak Army in the transport renovation and in the demining works after the World War II that lasted till spring 1946. The author summarises also material damages or expresses the damages in the most important departments of Slovakia immediately after the war. The author refers to the fact that real possibilities of the army to help with the reconstruction of the Republic destroyed by the war was limited by many factors.
