The author chronologically drafts development of the Slovak Military Museum tradition during the World War II. He refers to problems accompanying the building of the Military Museum. First collections were placed in the temporary depository in the premises of MNO in Hurban quarters. Presentation activity started only in 1940. He deals with the issue of organising ,,The Exhibition of Military Material Captured in the War against the Soviet Union“. In paper the author drafts the Military Museum activity as a part of the Military Scientific Institution in 1943 as well as the division of collection fund further on. He refers to the fact that reorganisation change in September 1944 resulted in passing of the Military Museum to subordination to the Military Academy in Bratislava, At the beginning of 1945 the Garrison Headquarters Trenčín took over the collection fund.
