The authors elaborated and translated from French an original material related to reporting of the Commander-in-chief of the Czecho-Slovak Army, the Chief of the French Military Mission in the Czecho-Slovak Republic, to the Minister of National Defence on French Military Mission Activity. They write about military and political situation in the country after the arrival in Prague in February 1919 and about the tasks that the French Military Mission ought to meet in the Army. The document describes general organisation of the Army — elaborated by the 1st Section, intelligence service, operation, training and transport. Independent part is devoted to artillery, automobile operation, engineering, air force, rear headquarters, and health service.
