By the study on preparation of military professionals for higher and the highest positions in the CzechoSlovak Army after ending of the World War II the author follows up with his preceding study on these problems in 1918 — 1939 published in the Military History No. 1, 2000. The author focused on detailed analysis of organisation and contents aspects of preparation of the above mentioned category of commanding corps of the Czecho-Slovak Army in the conditions of its post-war construction and beginning transformation to the Army of the so called socialist type. The author follows the problems in the context of restoration and organisational development of military school system as a whole on the background of existing internal political struggles, consequences or the rise of the monopoly of communist power and strengthening influence of the great power of the Soviet Union. So he proves besides other also the solution of the issue of continuity and discontinuity of senior commanders and staff employees of the pre-war and post-war army completed by the reorganisation of the military school system in 1950 — 1951.
