The author, chronologically and by content as well, picks up the threads of his previous study: Defence Capacity Union in Slovakia (1945 — 1949) published in Military History No. 1, 1999. In this way the author has concluded chronologically the processing of organizational establishment genesis and the tasks of defence organisations in Slovakia in a post-war Czechoslovakian state. The author has led off from archival research in archive of Technical and Sport Activities Association that is successor of Zvizarm organisation in Slovakia. Besides filling loopholes, the author has made an effort to objectify some of half-truths connected with organisational development and defining tasks of Zväzarm. He has also tried to depict the process of Zväzarm transformation into organisation of Technical and Sport Activities Association in 1990.
