The author, on the basis of heritage of Slovak Vladimir Ballo who fought in 12th Czechoslovakian Rifle Regiment of Milan Rastislav Štefánik during the First World War, has profiled the personality of Russian legionary — Slovak. Purposely built collection of V. Ballo is oriented to the First World War and Czechoslovakian foreign resistance movement. Apart from previously mentioned items the collection includes a lot of pictures, photos, journal materials, correspondence a materials relating to the personalities of M. R. Šteánik., M. Janin, F. Čatloš and others. However also some of the three-dimensional objects — medals, awards, badges and weapons etc. — have own informative value from the point of view of Slovak military history.
