The document, that is depositedin the Military Historical Archive in Prague and which will be published in three parts, was created at the turn of July and August of 1939. The material was elaborated at the request of the Propaganda Office in Bratislava, which had prepared the publication on the Slovak army with the aim to promote the idea of defensive power. The material depicts the period from 14% March to 17% April 1939, it means from the constitution of the Slovak State to the demobilization of all reserves drafted into the army as a result of the conflict. The document consists of intelligence and situation reports, orders at the level of corps, division and group, minutes, regulations as well as the Agreement on the exchange of the territory on the Slovak-Hungarian border neighboring with (Carpathian) Ruthenia. It narrates vividly the real fights, combats and the events of the Slovak-Hungarian conflict and in this way the reader can create a true picture of events without propagation sediments of war and after-war years.
