The published material examines up to now lesser-known episode of the national-liberation fight from 1944 to 1945, namely the circumstances of the defection of the members of East-Muslim regiment of SS weapons to the partisan brigade Boženko. In the introductory part of the material the author briefly characterizes the origin of this regiment of SS weapons and its arrival to Slovakia, in short also depicts its activity till the last decade of December 1944. It states the members of the Regiment in fact actively participated only in two actions against partisans: on 10% October 1944 in the area of Javorina and in the second half of November 1944 in the area of White Carpathians. The material is elaborated on the basis of archival materials and the memories of witnesses of mentioned event.
