In this study the author concentrates himself on the activities of the Czechoslovak Republic connected with the extradition of persons bound up with the Czechoslovak Republic and its regime in the time from 1939 to 1945. Above all, the elite of regime supporters — led by the president Jozef Tiso and members of the government, but also former diplomats of the Slovak Republic in Italy, Berlin and Switzerland and several other people — were concerned. The study is grounded on a complicated source base. The author drew information many times from the documents preserved thanks to activities of security and intelligence elements of the after war Czechoslovakia.
