The study deals with events connected with the Hungarian-Slovak armed conflict in March 1939. It is connected with the material published in the miscellany of the international scientific conference ,,Slovakia in Wars and Conflicts in 20th Century“. The presented study is extended by broader connections associated with the occupation of then Sub Carpathian Ukraine by Hungary and the military invasion to the Slovak territory. In the introduction the author briefly assesses the achieved state of this issue in the existing research of the Slovak historiography and points out the need of taking into account also Hungarian archive materials in their interpretation of a small or big solution.
