The published study deals with theissue of searching for representatives of the military Slovak State in a foreign exile and with efforts aimed at their extradition to CSR between 1947 — 1949. Attention is focused especially on Ferdinand Ďurčanský, Stanislav Mečiar, Jozef Kirschbaum, Ladislav Gréber and Aloiz Macko. The author follows organisational and procedural issues connected with the effort of security and intelligence elements at finding their place of residence and at the same time with the process of complex discussions of Czecho-Slovak diplomats with allied authorities and official bodies of Italy, Switzerland and other countries.
