Based on so far unused archive materials or contemporary press the author reconstructs the activity of the Hlinka’s Youth the establishment of which in1938 was connected with the separatist policy of the Hlinka’s Slovak People’s Party up to 1940. He pays attention also to the ideological background of its establishment in the existing Slovak society, its place in the authoritative or totalitarian system of the Slovak State as well as its role in the power struggle inside the regime. The study is completed with the Annex consisting of two contemporary documents that help readers look into the mechanism of community, enlightenment or physical education activity in first two years of  its existence.
