In the introduction of the study the author describes a dynamic period in the Carpathian basin from the second half of the sixth century to the second half of the seventh century. He describes the life of Slavonians in bondage of the Avar Empire. In doing so he leans on Fredegar's chronicle the author of which was a contemporary Franconian chronicler. He points out that in the same time and in the same way as Slavonian principalities came into existence in western and central Balkan, in Eastern Alps, in Bohemia, in the Central Oder, in Elbe and at Saal, other two Slavonian principalities of Nitra and Moravia could have come into existence. In the next part he deals with localisation of Samo's Empire on the central Danube that contained the whole free Slavonian area between the Avar Empire and the Franconian Empire. He also deals with the issue of localisation of the castle Wogastisburg as the best known residence of King Samo that protected a western entry to the Samo's Empire. The author describes the Battle at Wogastisburg in 631 too.
