In the paper the author tried to follow up with three published materials that he presented in various historical events and that should have raised basic, firstly theoretical but also some practical questions of the status and perspectives of the military history in Slovakia.He referred to out-of-date approaches of ideas in the Slovak historiography but left apart many historical events and changes directly connected with warfare and army. In addition to indisputable contributions he mentioned also new negative features emerging in historical literature.
