In the material the author elucidated particular steps related to the establishment of the Military Area of Javorina in 50's, especially problems connected with delimitation of its territory and displacement of  people from villages under evacuation. The author collected and elaborated so far unpublished facts on regional aspects of the establishment of the Military Area of Javorina. The study is developed on the basis of materials in the State Archive in Prešove and in the Slovak National Archive in Bratislava.
