The author briefly describes the situation in the equipment of the artillery of the Slovak Army in 1939 and deployment of artillery detachments to the battles up to the establishment of the Rapid Division with the emphasis on their battles at Lipovec. The study is focused on description of the combat activity of the Rapid Division artillery after its subordination to the German 1st Tank Army at the end of September 1941. The author mentions the deployment of the Rapid Division in the areas of Pereščepina and Polog as well as the transfer resulting in further reorganisation of the artillery — disbanding the Division Artillery HQ and renaming the Artillery Detachment 11/11 to the Artillery Detachment 11.
