In this published study the author connects to a previous study The Field Artillery of Rapid Division 1941 – 1942, published in the journal Vojenská história No. 1/2005. In the introduction he briefly characterizes the activity of the artillery in the Rapid Division (RD) from its changeover to an attack from defensive positions at the river Mius (20 July 1942) to conquer of Rostov and states that within RD at that time only an artillery detachment 11 (composed of two fourgun batteries 10 mm howitzers and four-gun battery of cannons mod. 35) operated together with artillery units of infantry regiments Characteristics of the Rapid Division advance from Rostov to the area of Gorjachij Kljuch creates a main part of the study. It includes an activity of the artillery and its reorganisation after delivery of supplements for the Artillery Regiment 11 and units of the Artillery Regiment 31. In the conclusion of the study the author describes a state and activity of the artillery in time of its retreat from defensive positions by the river Psekups and movement to Crimea.
