The author describes an important period in the military history of Slovakia – the combat activity of the Slovak Safety Division in Ukraine and Belorussia in the period from January 1942 to August 1942. Describing these historic events he results from available preserved documents of that time stored in funds and collections of the Military Historic Archive and the Slovak National Uprising Museum, the contents of which is connected with the searched topic, from data given in publications, scientific studies and materials, as well as from memories of these events participants.
