Published documents show a statement of the Government of Czech politicians concerning talks in Žilina on 6 October 1938, positions of Slovak politicians etc. They prove attention, which was paid to development of events in Žilina by state authorities, because in the town there worked separately, without any coordination the police bodies of the Provincial Office as well as the Deputy Commander of the Provincial Gendarme Command in Brno. The author states that principles and demands covered in agreements adopted in Žilina on 6 October 1938 regardless of political circumstances, in which they emerged, created a ground of political subjects in Slovakia for the future and it was not important if they were for the Agreement or not.
