The published material mainly covers a war diary – the memory of the lieutenant Fischer, an allocated German lieutenant to the II. battalion of the infantry regiment 21. The war diary brings the events in relation to the commitment of the 1st infantry division day by day with the references to the appendixes of the diary including more important commands, reporting and the information in the October 1943.
