The author belongs to Slovak amateur historians and he prepared a topic of air raids of American aviation to Nové Zámky. The author based the study of the tragic events on his own research of contemporary police reports, the study of the town chronicles, the papers of Roman-Catholic parish office in Nové Zámky, as well as preserved contemporary local press releases covering the air raids of American aviation to the town and its surroundings on 7th October 1944, 14th October 1944 and on 14th March 1945.
