The study describes the short –not more than – a half- year military participation of Slovakia particularly throughout German documentation. The author chronologically describes the activity of German Military mission, the relationship and cooperation of Slovak politicians and soldiers with German officers, and then he observes German views of the development and results of Slovak mobilization in the East front. Meanwhile, he informs on the approach of German Army towards Slovak requests of militarization, refers to German opinions on the military value and morale of Slovak Army. Last but not least, he realistically comments on the details of the mission of Slovak delegation with leading German military and political representatives. The conclusion reports on the visit of Marshal W. Keitel in Bratislava, February 1942.
