The study deals with the life of Alfred Löffler, the officer of Czechoslovak Army with a Jewish origin. Alfréd Löffler was born on 30 May 1906 in a Jewish family in Holíč, Slovakia. After graduation at Secondary real school in Skalica, 1924 he went on to study at Military Academy in Hranice na Moravě, which he finished very successfully as an Infantry lieutenant. Until the autumn in 1929 he served in 13th regiment at Šumperk and then he was trained to be an air guard observer. In 1932 he was dedicated to Army Aviation and consequently he served in various aviation troops in Czech and Slovak republic. In 1938 he was at Captain Rank and a Shadow Commander of a Technical fleet of 6th Aviation Regiment in Prague. 22nd November 1938 he died in the air accident in which his aero plane crashed into Lomnický Peak.
