The study deals with a not-properly -revealed topic of the activities of Voluntary defence troops representing a paramilitary unit of the German site in Slovakia 1938-1945. The author stems mainly from the materials of the German provenience founded out during his several stays in international archives. There is also his unforgettable fund research in the Slovak National Archive as well as various regional archives. The exploited theme is divided in to three sub-chapters. In the first, we can follow the reality of its foundation and establishment in the meantime. In the second part he focuses on the activities of some selected troops of Freiwillige Schutzstaffel – Einsatztruppe (ET). In the third one he analyses the proportion of Freiwillige Schutzstaffel in the „resolution“ of the Jewish Issue in Slovakia.
