The presented material is a translated version of the oral interview with general Leo Geyr von Schweppenburg, a German tank officer and former Inspector of Pz Troops. Such oral interviews were made shortly after the war by members of the Historical Division, US Army. The interview was held in English, an interpreter being used only for a few terms and passages. For this reason, plus the fact that the interviewer was his own editor, the authenticity of the work can be assured. Th is oral interview is a Parallel interview answered also by Genobst Heinz Guderian. A copy of this oral interview can be found in the military archive in Freiburg, Germany.
