The study deals with the negotiations of the Allies of antifascist coalition on the after-war division of Germany. It follows the discussion on the form of control mechanism and its everyday management in the country aft er German capitulation. Taken from the time perspective it starts with the Conference of Foreign aff air Ministers in the Great Three in October 1943 the conclusion of which was the establishment of European advisory commission focused on after-war division of Germany, up to the Jalta conference in February 1945 the Allies agreed on the main rules of their common policy towards Germany. It is highly appreciated that the author collected available international literature including published materials on the issue. He analyses the opinions and proposals of competent bodies in the states of the Great Three, while he points at the differences in opinions.
