TURZA, Peter: 152 mm self propelled howitzer 18/47 in the Czechoslovak People´s Army.

The study deals with the issue of using trophy self-propelled cannons of German origin as the addition of the tank technique of the Czechoslovak army after the WWII.

The extract is a follow up of the materials published in the Military History no. 1,2,3 2009. This is the technique taken after the repair from the aft er-war collections; taken-over from the Red Army or, and mainly; produced in Czechoslovak military factories in accordance with the types produced there during the war to meet the needs of the German army. The mentioned types of the self-propelled cannons were included in the armaments until the 50s and 60 s of the last century. Apart from providing a complex view to the topics the author tries to react to the many different and imprecise factual information variously published or available on the web.
