The author in his published study deals with the building of the bridge on the Danube River in Medveďov. In the introduction he explains the reasons of the decision to build up the bridge , provides a brief analyses of the administrative preparations (the tender declaration) and he mentions the tender winner. After the preparation works he thoroughly describes the preparation works of the bridge segments and its composition, whilst he highlights the factors hindering the construction of the bridge; either the meteorological or the problems of capacity. Meanwhile the construction of the bridge he is interested in the history, in some other part in the destructions during the WWII, as well as in the fact that the bridge surroundings used to be a target of the Allie troops bombardiers. In this respect he develops his interesting hypothesis why the bridge was not bombarded, whilst its surrounds was. In the last part of the study the author describes the reconstruction of the bridge aft er the WWII.
