Author of the study analyses the extent of tasks carried out by the Work Force members within the Army of the Slovak Republic as well as outside thereof, i.e. in the civil sector. On selected examples, he has documented the performance of operating and working units, providing the days worked and financial value of the works performed. Comparing the budgetary costs for the Work Force and incomes thereof for the works performed, he arrives at the conclusion that economic results of the Work Force have never been profitable.
